Possibility of Updates and End-of-Year Sales?

Hi everyone,

I stopped playing this game back in 2016, and only just returned a few days ago. I've realized that:
a) I've missed some of the most beautiful creatures released in 2017 and 2018, and
b) this game is no longer updated. :(

However, after 5+ years, there are a few new animals that I haven't had but can breed, so I'm reasonably excited for that. I can also see that there are many new players at levels 10+ interested in this game. Would be such a waste if it's discontinued just like this.

What do you think about the possibility of a Black Friday and/or Xmas sale at the end of this year? I figure it would be a good chance for players like me and the new ones to obtain the animals we missed and won't be able to get in the future through updates and events.

And has there not been ANY events/updates at all this year? Has anyone from Storm8 confirmed the future state of the game? Players wouldn't like the idea of paying for it only to see it discontinued.
