Dragon Tales 5/7/24: Petal For Your Thoughts

Greetings Fellow Caretakers,

Here are the simplified directions to complete the first May Dragon Tales event, called Petal For Your Thoughts, the second event for Floral May. Not only are the chapters and acts listed, I also put in the supplies needed and how many times the Pale Orchid Dragon has to be sent on missions. I hope it helps all of you to get the Pale Petal Dragon. With no further ado, here's the chapters and I divided them up by levels.

Note: You can level up the Pale Orchid, Luteus and Acuminata Dragons to their required levels early and they will count. For most players Pale Orchid needs to be at level 14, Luteus to level 12 and Acuminata to level 6.
***If you are below level 80, then look at your level listing to see required levels for your dragons.***

Note: You can breed Acuminata Dragon early (breed blue with yellow) and it will count when asked in Chapter 6.

Note: For anyone who has difficulty breeding the common dragon for Dragon Tales events, you can skip the acts where that dragon is required for a total of 112 Gold.

Note: After a cycle of 4 hour fails along with Ambassador being thrown in for fun, I finally got Acuminata. Parents were Mist (blue, yellow) and Seabreeze (yellow, blue).

I was shocked when I got the Acuminata dragon on my first try using Mercury and Air. Now I am free to breed for whatever I want and/or for whatever Bingo wants me to breed for. I was hoping I wouldn't like this event's dragons, but I think that Pale Petal dragon is very appealing.

I also like the new habitat, Duskflower Field(more or less). I was desperate for a habitat that held pink. I might need to buy two of these. The last habitat was just so ordinary - I skipped it. But I bought 2 of the Cool View habitats - they are beautiful. Sometimes the habitat designers really outdo themselves.

That the designers did on the Cool View habitats. They are pretty nice. Congratulations also for getting Acuminata on the first try! Breeding yellow and blue is always a pain for me because I always get a bunch of Social Dragons. Thank goodness I didn't see a one in my breeding tries this time, lol. Getting Acuminata on the first try will definitely make your Dragon Tales journey a lot easier.

Yes, you can collect Perfect Prologues and Favored Fables ahead of time and it's actually a great idea to collect all that are needed for your levels almost as soon as you get the Pale Orchid Dragon.
However, the Perfect Prologues and Favored Fables are not transferable to the next Dragon Tales. Once the current DT event ends, so do everything associated with it except the Orcarina which lasts approximately 2 days after to create the token dragon, get adventure tickets or get farm Boosts.
As far as having enough food for these events, if you have one or both of the mines open, it's a good way to stock food. The most economical way of obtaining food is to plant Upgrapes and put a timer on to collect every 10 minutes. Also, if you play the leaderboards and finish in the top 100 you get an automatic 250,000 food which is 90% of what you need if you're a high level player. The 250k food covers what's required if you're level 79 or lower.
