Okay. When I read ?in any basic ice cream maker,? I thought they meant there was more than 1 appliance that could be used.

Thanks for the confirmation Spirit, but I am a bit worried. Its just not possible for me to manage this many parts for appliances, even with active neighbors. Over the last few days we have had goals requiring so many parts (3 14-day goal ovens, at 40 parts each, plus each ice cream maker at 40 each, and each 5-day goal oven at 16 parts each). I hope the dev team stays mindful of the fact that we can only request and receive 40 items max a day, and even that is nearly impossible to get consistently.

Also that the 14-day goal?s 2nd appliance takes 72 parts each. 1st one takes 40 each, 2nd one takes 72 each.

I'm not surprised Ice Cream Maker is required. Its always been this way with certain goals. You start to accumulate more of the appliance every time there is a goal using it Eventually you have enough appliances that the goal is doable. Patience is key

hmm we use the drink machine a lot on side goals and 5-days on restaurant story. Figure they're getting us to do the same with the ice cream maker now on bakery story

will be focusing on building up more of them when done building main goal appliances if this keeps happening. It's annoying since I prefer building the possible appliances for 5-days, but I kinda like that they're changing things up a bit and putting some thought into the game
